The author of a story, Maria, has a dream about a character in her book named Astaria. She meets her in a place where Astaria also dreams of her. As Maria tries to get through the ache in her heart from feeling the fleeting joy of calling out to Astaria in her dream, remembering her laughter echo and the happiness to call out to Astaria from what seemed to be the darkness. She saw Astaria as a little 5 year old child who was in the form of starlight. Astaria joyfully runs to her like Maria's true life daughter Sarah used to, and she happily jumps into Maria's loving arms and then she suddenly wakes up on earth, lonely for her. She thinks about her children who are now fully grown and longs to love little Astaria and hold her in her arms again. In Elysoran, Astaria has a dream at the same time, and wakes up longing for the unfamiliar yet nourishing love from a mother she never met.
